What we do
We buy houses in Houston and the surrounding Texas markets, directly, with our own funds. When the house needs work, we do the work and sell it to someone who wants to live in it. When it makes more sense to keep, we keep it and rent it. Either way, the person on the other side of the table from you is the actual buyer.
That matters more than it sounds like it should. A lot of what looks like a home-buying company online is a lead broker — a form that collects your information and sells it to whoever pays the most, which is why some people get eleven phone calls in a day after filling one out. We're not that. Your information stays with us.
How we like to work
- We tell you when we're not the right answer. If listing with an agent will net you more and you can wait, we'll say so on the first call.
- We explain the number. You get to see how we got there, including our repair estimate, so you can push back on it.
- We don't re-trade. Changing the price after you've accepted, over something we should have caught up front, is a bad way to do business.
- We close at a title company. Always. An independent third party confirms clear title and handles the money.
